Tim moved to Stratford with his wife and their three daughters in 2016. Before joining Dunphy Burdett in 2016, Tim practiced as Associate Lawyer with one of Canada’s leading law firms in the Calgary office. Tim maintains a general practice with an emphasis on corporate & commercial work, real estate, and wills & estates. If you can’t find Tim at work or with his family, you can find him cycling, reading, tracking down and sampling the wares and local breweries, and cheering for the Calgary Flames. Tim serves on the Board of the Stratford Family Health Team.

Gerry B. Burdett
Born and raised in Stratford, Gerry has been practicing law here for more than 40 years. In that time, Gerry has been involved in almost every avenue of the legal community: he has been a prosecutor and defence attorney in the criminal courts and for provincial offences, he has spoken about the law to groups of prison inmates, high school students, and members of government and the civil service. He has been an active member of the community in Stratford, as a founding member of Perth Country Crimestoppers and volunteering with a number of agencies including the Ministry of Corrections, Perth County, United Way, Heart & Stroke, and various other groups. He is also a past-President of the Perth County Law Association. Gerry now has a general practice with a focus on real estate, wills, powers of attorney and estate administration. Gerry loves sports, and he loves cars, and he would be happy to talk about either to anyone, anytime.

Justin N. O’Rourke
Justin was raised on a farm near Exeter in Huron County. In 2005, he returned to southwestern Ontario, joining the firm intent on building a varied practice not far from where he grew up. Since then, Justin has earned a reputation for being a strong advocate and trusted advisor for the people and companies he works with and for being a dedicated community member. Justin lives in Mitchell, Ontario, has two kids and is often found playing soccer, running, and generally spending time outdoors. Justin has served on the Boards of Gallery Stratford, Stratford-Perth Shelterlink, the South Huron Hospital Association and he is currently the Chair of the Governance Committee of the Stratford-Perth Community Foundation.

Gavin Cond*
Gavin joined the firm in 2018, having been in private practice in Stratford since 2012. In addition to offering extensive services in the areas of corporate & commercial law, wills, powers of attorney and estate administration, Gavin has a high-volume real estate practice that remains focused on client needs and attention to detail. Even though Gavin and his wife, a local high school teacher, are new parents to a son and a daughter, he still finds time to get outside and enjoy camping and fishing whenever he can. Gavin serves on the Board of the Stratford-Perth Family YMCA.

Megan Vandersleen
Megan is a Stratford native. She returned home to article after completing law school at the University of Western Ontario in 2011 and has practiced in Perth County ever since. Her focus is family law, primarily on litigation and negotiation and preparation of domestic contracts such as cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts, and separation agreements. She welcomes Legal Aid Ontario certificates and select child protection matters.
